  That said: make sure your gift vouchers don't expire! My husband gave me a $200 gift voucher to Essential Ingredient which was misplaced during the difficult times that followed my mother's cancer diagnosis. I found it again while preparing for the birth of our first child but it had expired. I contacted Essential Ingredient to see if there was anything they could do to help me, $200 being a lot of money, but they flatly made it clear there was nothing they would do. (I also had a $50 voucher from another company with it and that company was happy to reissue me a new voucher). I know legally they are within their rights to refuse but it's hard knowing they got $200 out of my family for nothing.
