  When leaving the property I was told of a large list of problems with the property and was not actually supplied with a list for over 4 weeks, we had the property professionally cleaned and they still were not happy and sought compensation of well over $2,000.

  Very poor customer service when I tried to bring to their attention there were a number of things that needed attending to with a new rental we had just moved into. A number of light bulbs were missing or blown out amongst some other things to be fixed that I had raised with them six weeks before entering the property. No empathy or apology whatsoever. Their response was defensive and along the lines of "too bad, you saw the house and agreed to rent it in the condition it was in. Not our responsibility to check these things and ensure that all lights were working and we never gauranteed the things you asked to be fixed would be."

  I have found this real estate to be dreadful in both renting and in attempting to purchase a house through them. In both instances I was messed around and lied to. There are a number of reputable real estate agents in Orange, but this doesn't deserve to be one of them.

  We will not be recommending John Cook real estate to anyone and will not be using them with future real estate needs. We found them rude, unethical and very untrustworthy.
