  I have been buying wine from Simon for the last three years and have found him to be both supportive and professional on all occasions. He is passionate about the wines of the region and liaises with many of the winemakers on a regular basis. Ferment offers an interesting selection of both local, interstate and imported wines. This place is definitely worth a look.

  I know Simon so I'm biased. But Ferment is really the best way to sample a whole range of local wines without driving around to all the cellar doors and getting pressured to buy. Compare them all on the spot. Simon's a good listener and will connect you with something that YOU like, and I guarantee you will want to buy. The region is producing some great wines now.....whites and reds. Go give Ferment a try.

  A great way to try out a variety of local wines, especially from the smaller boutiques. But I found the service a little lacking and not particularly engaging. He seemed more concerned with the other (older) customers than us - perhaps some age bias against us, despite us purchasing several bottles.
