Great place to stay & play. Very good course, challenging, in great condition, great clubhouse but avoid going in winter as it gets really cold. Accomodation comfortable & good food.

This is a magnificent old property that has the charm of yesteryear. Some of the fittings in the bedrooms are modern, which doesn't really go with the charm of the Grand Old Lady. I turned the heater off at night and woke up and it wasn't freezing which was good. I loved the old charm of the place. I just think they could charge a lot more if they made the rooms more them more in line with the hotel. Staff were friendly. Beautiful grounds. Very quiet.
